2021 MOSHAPE Convention

Ever had trouble thinking of new activities with hardy any equipment? This session will help Elementary P.E. Teachers with some new innovative ideas. These activities will include little to no equipment. It feels like sometimes we're on an island with nothing, which could be having barely any equipment at all. Come out to the #PHYSED ISLAND, so you can learn some ideas! Make sure to bring your phones or tablets for pictures and videos.

Heart Zones and Sandy Moore  the MOSHAPE President 2019.  Learn the best fitness fun activity using HRM for small and large class sizes (20 - 120 students) while learning the benefits of technology in physical education.  

This session is combined with Dancing with DC

Playing It Forward, come learn for the "old timers" how to move your program forward with admin. Don't ever take NO for an answer and JUST ASK!. Simple game modifications for large/small classes, how to make/purchase your own equipment, etc.

Ever had trouble thinking of ideas for Field Day? This session will help teachers prepare for Field Day by coming up with themes, using time management, creating activities, having incentives, and making it FUN for all students. By using technology and other features in the classroom, Field Day could be an event going on all year long, not just for one day. Go above and beyond for your students for the school year! This could be labeled as a Field Year, not a Field Day. Make sure to bring your phones or tablets for pictures and videos. WARNING: You will have Fun!
