In need of new resources, a unique activity or AMI? This ready-to-use activity is provided for free. Accessed online, this project teaches the connection about how making poor lifestyle or behavior choices can affect our quality of life. Using case scenarios, student research the lifestyle choices a person has made, ultimately leading to a medical condition such as heart disease, cancer, type 2 diabetes, etc. After researching their choices, student teams develop goals and provide behavior modifications to improve their health. Throughout the project, students will also be asked to evaluate their lifestyle choices and behaviors in making this connection.
